Play time
Medium: prisma color pencil
Size: 14.2x12
Date: May 2010
This art piece was for a dog art show that I had participated in two years before. I was inspired by my dog, Lucy, because of her wild and totally unique personality. I enjoyed the details of the fur and the eyes because that is what really brings an art piece to life.

Texas Jewel

This art piece was originally intended for the Rodeo, but I thought otherwise. I was inspired by the sunflowers that grow in my front yard every spring and summer. I was also inspired by the hummingbird that my mom was recently rehabilitating.
